I wanted a navigation display, but did not want something ugly permanently mounted to the windshield or dash. This fit the bill perfectly. Not only can you transfer your Garmin from car to car, it is also easy to store away, completely out of sight (in your center console), giving absolutely no indication to some scum bag thief that your car has GPS unit! It stays put, and I have never had a problem with it slipping or tipping. It is adjustable as well, which alows you to view a level screen, irregardless, of the level of your dashboard. Great product.
